ClearTax Off Campus Hiring 2025 – Software Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Develop and Implement: Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code to support the development of various software systems and applications.
• Collaborate: Partner with product managers, designers, and engineering teams to understand requirements and deliver effective software solutions.
• Debug and Test: Contribute to debugging, testing, and optimizing software to ensure reliability, efficiency, and performance.
• Learn and Grow: Participate in continuous learning opportunities, including workshops and code reviews, while staying updated on emerging technologies and trends.
• Document: Support the creation and maintenance of technical documentation for software systems and applications.

Requirements:

• A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Proficiency in one or more programming languages, such as Java, Python, C++, or JavaScript.
• A solid grasp of computer science concepts, including algorithms, data structures, and software design principles.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive, solution-oriented mindset.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills, coupled with a willingness to work in a team environment and learn from others.
• Basic knowledge of front-end and back-end technologies, as well as an understanding of microservices architecture.
• A growth mindset, with the ability to adapt and learn in dynamic environments.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Internship experience or practical exposure in software development or related areas.
• Familiarity with tools and methodologies such as version control systems (e.g., Git), IDEs, and agile development practices.
• Basic knowledge of web technologies, databases, and cloud-based services.
• A high sense of ownership and accountability in delivering quality work.
