Job Description
GE Healthcare Off Campus Hiring 2025 – Trainee Engineer
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Oversee material ordering, availability, and scheduling to maintain a minimum of two weeks of inventory levels.
- Act as an expert in Oracle and Digital Cockpit systems.
- Ensure inventory data is systematically accurate.
- Manage rescheduling of materials for expedited pull-ins and controlled push-outs to optimize inventory management.
- Investigate and resolve root causes of daily material shortages.
- Collaborate with suppliers on packaging requirements, minimum/maximum planning, material replenishment strategies, and problem-solving for root causes.
- Perform daily on-site inspections of production areas and receiving docks to address and resolve material receiving issues.
- Facilitate material transfers and supplier assessments in partnership with the sourcing team.
- Manage the introduction and discontinuation of new products (NPI) to reduce obsolete inventory.
Key Skills:
- Proficiency in MRP systems and familiarity with Oracle or SAP is advantageous.
- Exceptional communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electronics, or Electrical Engineering.
